Attention: Programming Notice

Our programs have been very successful and registration lists are full.  We love seeing our community having so much fun at the library!

However, we have been dealing with a lot of no-shows for some of our programs.  This is a waste of resources and means that other people have not been able to attend programs that they really wanted to come to.

If your plans change and you are unable to come to a program that you are registered for, please call the library at least 24 hours in advance to cancel your registration so that we can open up your spot to another person.

Please be aware that going forward if you fail to cancel your registration for one of our programs, you will be removed from any future program registrations.

What is STELLA?

What is STELLA?

STELLA stands for Sharing & Technology Enhancing Local Library Access. It is a consortium of over 43 libraries in central New Jersey that pool their resources to provide collections, services and programs to patrons of member libraries.

What does STELLA provide?

STELLA allows Spotswood Library cardholders to access materials from over 43 libraries in New Jersey through a shared integrated library system, expanding access to over 3 million items.

How do I use STELLA?

You can download the STELLA app to store your library card number, view our catalog holdings, and place holds for materials. Your Spotswood Library card can also be used at any of the STELLA member libraries. Click here for a full list.

You can also return any of your library material to any member library and we’ll take care of checking-in the items and returning them to its owning library.

If you have any questions, please contact the library at 732-251-1515 or stop by the circulation desk.
