Hear medical practitioners’ entertaining tales of medical care in military hospitals during the war. The presenter, accompanied by replica medicine and museum-quality surgical instruments, simulates some of the more extreme operations doctors performed during the conflict, such as sawing into a soldier’s skull or amputation of a major limb.
