Storytimes are a great way to build literacy skills and encourage lifelong reading. These 20-30 minute story times are full of books, songs, rhymes and fingerplays for children from 6 months to 3 years old. Children and their grown-ups are encouraged engage with the books and songs and to actively participate in the program.
Storytime participation promotes listening and motor skills. Join us for a storytime that encourages the development of pre-reading skills through stories, songs, rhymes, and fingerplays. Enjoy a fun and simple craft at the end! For children ages 3-5, not yet in Kindergarten.
For our early readers we offer stories, crafts, games and more! For children in grades K-2.
Imagine, create and participate! Join us as we create fun, seasonal crafts with our Tweens. These programs are for kids in Grades 3-5.
Two dedicated children’s computer in the library can help kids with their reading, math and sorting skills.
