Join our Strategic Planning Committee

The Spotswood Public Library is looking for community members to participate in developing a new Strategic Plan for the library.  We welcome input from individuals who currently use the library and those who do not.

If you are a Spotswood resident and are interested in volunteering to be on the Strategic Planning Committee, please email the library director at director@spotslibrary.org.

We’ll be meeting on select Tuesdays in the early afternoon (ending at 2:00 pm).  To learn more about strategic plans, please click here.

What is STELLA?

What is STELLA?

STELLA stands for Sharing & Technology Enhancing Local Library Access. It is a consortium of over 43 libraries in central New Jersey that pool their resources to provide collections, services and programs to patrons of member libraries.

What does STELLA provide?

STELLA allows Spotswood Library cardholders to access materials from over 43 libraries in New Jersey through a shared integrated library system, expanding access to over 3 million items.

How do I use STELLA?

You can download the STELLA app to store your library card number, view our catalog holdings, and place holds for materials. Your Spotswood Library card can also be used at any of the STELLA member libraries. Click here for a full list.

You can also return any of your library material to any member library and we’ll take care of checking-in the items and returning them to its owning library.

If you have any questions, please contact the library at 732-251-1515 or stop by the circulation desk.
